Congratulations, Leigh Bardugo!
Schuler Books would like to congratulate YA author Leigh Bardugo on the recent movie deal for her debut novel, Shadow and Bone, which is a New York Times Bestseller and a favorite amongst our employees. Dreamworks has acquired the film rights and David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter films, is set to produce. We hosted a Fierce Reads tour at our Lansing store and had the lovely opportunity to meet Leigh and gush in person about how superb Shadow and Bone is. Leigh is such a talented and sincere person, and we couldn’t be happier for her!
