Michigan Boys Make Good on Today Show!

Tune in to the Today Show at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 17, to catch brothers  Max and Eli Sussman, Michigan authors of Freshman in the Kitchen, published by Huron River Press, based out of Ann Arbor.

Max came to the Eastwood store in 2008 for a cooking demo from Freshman (and taught me — positively hopeless in the kitchen — how to cook a really nice chicken recipe that actually worked when I tried it again on my own!) and was a great presenter.  The book is targeted toward cooking newbies, but I guarantee they’ve got tricks for even seasoned cooks to learn.  We’re also big fans of Huron River Press cookbooks in general – they always produce a beautiful product.
