Happy Bloomsday!

Every year on June 16, fans of James Joyce can act out their love of his monumental work Ulysses on Bloomsday, a celebration of the classic, intimidating novel! (The entire doorstopper novel takes place on June 16th, and the main character is named Leopold Bloom, hence the holiday.)

This year has been particularly fun, with a Bloomsday Bursts twitter page, the first Bloomsday Breakfast in NYC, and tonight starting at 7 p.m.Radio Bloomsday will broadcast a reading of Ulysses featuring a slew of fantastic actors, including Alec Baldwin, John Lithgow,  and Bob Odenkirk! You can listen online at WBAI.org.
