Interview with YA Author Maggie Stiefvater

Last night, our Lansing store hosted an event with the incredibly talented and hilarious Maggie Stiefvater. She is the bestselling author of several Young Adult novels including her heart-wrenching Wolves of Mercy Falls series (Shiver, Linger, Forever), The Scorpio Races, and her newest release, The Raven Boys. Maggie’s event was part of her Raven Boys Tour and it was a major success! We had such a great turn out and all of our guests had a wonderful time. Maggie talked about the new book and about her writing process. She told us a story about meeting her literary idol and being starstruck with a funny side story about not being a hugging type, yet asking her idol for a hug. We were all laughing our heads off at this, yet I’m sure all of us were thinking, “I’ve totally done that before…”. All in all, it was a spectacular event.
